Gift Wrapping - Reduce, Reuse & Recycle
I was thinking, what can we do to make a difference this year. Every Christmas morning there is so much waste after all the presents are unwrapped. While I always try to keep as much of the wrapping to reuse. So we made a conscious decision to try something different.
Most of the gifts given were home made, ranging from homemade foodie gifts like granola to homemade body butters, bath salts and beeswax candles.
Use alternative things to wrap gifts like
newspaper, recycled twine/jute string, cotton or woollen napkins or tea towels, scarves, scarp fabric, old wrapping paper. . To decorate - store cupboard spices like cinnamon sticks and easy to make - dried orange slices.
